A property of immense character, with a privileged location in the elegant Barrio de Salamanca. Situated on the fourth floor of a magnificent building, this spacious three bedroom apartment combines the romantic classicism of a stately home with a hip Bohemian style which reveals the good taste and adventurous personality of its owners.

Equipped to the detail with outstanding quality, this property is meant to be enjoyed. The spectacular living room perfectly embodies the spirit of the entire home: spacious, cheerful and full of character, bathed by the bright natural light that streams in through the large balcony windows. The sitting area, where colour is key, is decorated in a mix of styles: oriental furniture, retro leather chairs, ethnic rugs and cushions, and a diversity of objects from around the world collected by the owners.

The living room is separated from the dining room by large doors with plenty of glass, letting the light through and enhancing the beauty of the property’s structural elements: the high ceilings, elaborate mouldings and panelled walls, the original wooden floors. The dining room is a magical place set off by a beautiful conservatory-style terrace overlooking the busy calle Hermosilla, where having breakfast or simply drinking a cup of coffee becomes a fairy tale event.

Just off the dining room is a smaller sitting area, still spacious, decorated in soothing shades with splashes of colour and a large L-shaped six seater sofa. It is equipped with a TV, discreetly  hidden in a beautiful oriental-style antique cabinet.

The kitchen is on the other side of the hall. Simple yet modern, it preserves the classic charm of the rest of the property, and is fully equipped  with top-of-the-range appliances.

The sleeping area is at the end of the corridor. The master bedroom is decorated in brilliant white, broken only by the beautiful wooden bed and mirror. It has a full en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower.

The second bedroom, spacious and extremely bright, continues the white theme, highlighting the high ceiling, elaborate mouldings and romantic white woodwork. Of note here is the pretty hanging lamp. The bedroom is equipped with TV and stereo, armchairs and work area. 

The third bedroom is again spacious and bright, with a generously-sized wardrobe and a reading area. It is decorated with bright and vivid textiles. At the end of the corridor is the bathroom, with a large bath in the centre.

The Barrio de Salamanca is one of the most elegant and exclusive areas of Madrid. It is a short walk away from the historic centre, the main tourist attractions, and most of the “in” cultural and leisure venues. With excellent public transport facilities, and easy access to the city’s financial centre, it is also one of the safest and most endearing neighbourhoods, in addition to being a paradise for shopping and restaurants.

• Arrival and departure. Check-in is between 15:00 and 21:00; check-out by 11:00. Should you require to arrive or leave earlier or later, you must request this at the time of the booking. We will endeavour to accommodate your request; however, this will depend on availability, and an additional fee may be incurred.
• Cancellations. Cancelling more than 14 days prior to your arrival date will entitle you to a full refund. Cancelling between 7 and 14 days prior to arrival will entitle you to a refund of 50% and cancelling between 2 and 7 days will entitle you to a refund of 25%. Cancellations made less than 2 days in advance of the planned arrival date will mean that no refund can be given, and the full rental amount will be withheld.
  
• Additional information. The minimum stay we have in Madrid is 5 nights, and 7 nights over the Christmas period. The property is fully equipped, including high quality bedlinen and towels.
