The villa is set in a sunny location, in a quiet area of the village.
Inside, the property is spacious and bright. It is tastefully decorated throughout, featuring both old and new handcrafted furniture, as well as comfortable easy chairs and sofas and a variety of original artwork. The oak furniture, wooden beams and white walls blend together to create a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere.
Care and attention to detail are evident also outdoors. A private pool is flanked on one side by a lawn with an olive tree, and the rest of the very secluded garden is well-stocked with palm trees, olive trees, fruit trees and cypresses, bougainvillea and other climbing plants.
There are various areas in which to enjoy al fresco dining; the covered terrace in the central patio is ideal for breakfast, the pool area perfect for lunch under the pergola. The wisteria-covered pergola on the front terrace beckons for evening drinks or dinner whilst enjoying views of Deià village, the sea and spectacular sunsets.
The centre of the village, with its numerous restaurants, bars and boutiques, is just a short walk away .
ACCOMMODATION AND LAYOUT
The double height entrance hall leads to the left into an open plan living, dining and kitchen area, with the covered terrace, patio and pool straight ahead and a sitting room with TV to the right. French windows open into the garden from both areas.
The living area comprises a traditional Majorcan canopied seating area around an open fireplace, providing an ideal place to relax. A large oak dining table seats eight to ten people. There is a shower room that communicates with the pool and dining area.
The large kitchen, with Corian worktops, is fully equipped with modern appliances, including a plumbed-in steam oven, electric oven, Gaggenau two-ring gas hob, two-ring electric hob, electric barbecue, toaster, Nespresso coffee maker, juicer etc. There is a separate larder with dishwasher, large fridge, chiller, freezer and ice maker.
A utility room at the end of the terrace houses the washing machine and dryer.
The sitting room has satellite TV, DVD player and music system (with Bose speakers serving the whole living area), and opens out onto the front terrace and rear covered terrace.
The sleeping area on the first floor contains four en-suite bedrooms, all with air conditioning and fans, and all bathrooms feature beautiful Venetian plaster.
The master bedroom has a king-size four poster bed with en-suite bathroom and Jacuzzi, and a terrace with views of Deià village and the sea.
There are two further double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom, one with a king-size bed (or two singles) and views of Deià village, and another with two single beds.
The fourth bedroom is independent from the rest of the house, with access up stone stains from the patio. It has a king-size four poster bed with TV, a raised study area with broadband connection and its own private garden.
The en-suite bathroom with freestanding bath is situated in a tower and has windows all around, providing wonderful views of the mountains.
There is a separate second study on the first floor which also has broadband connection.
The tiled swimming pool (4m x 8m) is filled with seawater and is provided with a safety cover. It can be heated if required. Sun loungers are available, both for the pool and on the terrace of the master bedroom.
Opportunities for al fresco dining are numerous. A covered terrace at the back of the house looking onto the traditional cobbled patio has a professional stainless steel built-in barbecue and wooden dining table for eight. The shady pergola by the pool provides a second dining area for eight, while the front terrace, which is covered by a wisteria-clad pergola and offers fabulous views of the village and stunning sunsets, has a third dining area seating eight around a Moroccan tiled table. The private garden for the fourth bedroom has a further table for four.
There is a double garage and parking for 2 to 3 more cars on the property.
Cleaning service: Cleaning and change of linen is provided at the end of each week, with an additional mid-week service during the high season. Additional cleaning services are available by arrangement. Bath and pool towels are provided, for use exclusively within the house.
Gardening and pool maintenance are provided.

All fees shown are inclusive of taxes and other costs. Payment of a 30% of the total rental fees is required for your rental to be confirmed. The remaining 70% together with the security deposit, must be paid 60 days prior to arrival or the initial 30% deposit will not be refunded. When a booking is made with less than 6 weeks in advance to your arrival, the total booking fee will be due.
