"Enjoy a truly privileged stay in this apartment located in a 17th century stately Sevillian palace house"
Casa Palacio San Jose II is one of five apartments comprising the Casa Palacio San José. It owes its name to Francisco de Paula Farfán, a renowned Sevillian artist, chronicler of the city and talented carpenter, who was born in this very house in 1869 and whose soul, whether by chance or pure serendipity, is today present in the carpentry work carried out by his descendants in the course of the complex restoration works of this stately palace home.
The house is accessed through an impressive front gate located in calle San José 7. A short, open hallway leads to the patio and a covered furnished sitting area, crossing which you can access the house proper through a hall housing a fabulous staircase and lift leading to the apartments and rooftop terraces.
Enthusiasts of both architecture and history will delight in the classical structural details, the large arcaded patio with Roman marble columns and fountains, generous terraces with exuberant greenery, and pergolas to keep the environment cool and sheltered. Inside, a veritable exhibition of craftsmanship, with classical decorative tiling, woodwork, coffered ceilings and elaborate plaster mouldings.
This property, generous in size, in natural light and in attributes, is built around a pretty arcaded patio. Inside, the facilities of a contemporary home in an environment which combines the opulence of Andalusian Baroque architecture, including high ceilings and generous proportions, with a careful décor bringing together articles of Spanish-style furniture, both antique and modern, with local craftsmanship.
The apartment spans an area of 125 m2 to be enjoyed at will, in addition to 25m2 in the private gallery and a further 180m2 of terraces plus solarium on the top floor (shared with the other apartments). There are three bedrooms, all with their own en-suite bathroom, affording maximum privacy.

To the left of the entrance hallway is the kitchen, a bright room equipped to the detail. A short corridor leads to the sitting-cum-dining room, decorated in fresh colours with elements of period Spanish furniture alongside modern easy chairs, sofas and textiles. Bright and cheerful, this room is perfect for enjoying company, a quiet TV session, or lunch with the family, at a dining table for six. Serving this living area is a guest toilet.
The sitting room breathes in fresh air through the gallery, which can be closed with sliding glass doors and overlooks the pretty main patio. Two of the bedrooms open directly onto the gallery.
The sleeping area is comprised of three bedrooms. The sitting area leads directly to the master bedroom, which is equipped with a large 160 x 190 cm double bed, with a hardwood headboard and matching bedside tables. There is a large built-in wardrobe, a writing desk, chair and full en-suite bathroom.
