"The Seville sky awaits. In a palace. Right in the heart of the city. With the Barrio de Santa Cruz at your feet, in a three-bedroom attic apartment."
Santa Cruz. The name given to this three-bedroom attic in the Palacio Buenavista, a recently renovated 17th century Sevillian patio house of great historical value. Because this is precisely what we love doing in Home at Homes: looking for that special place to bring you a home away from home when in Seville.
The palace is a sumptuous period stately home located in calle Cano y Cueto, on the doorstep of the Barrio de Santa Cruz and the Murillo Gardens. The perfect location for travellers who want it all, being just steps away from all the most important sites in the city.
From the entrance hall to the patio, the palace welcomes you with its pretty wooden galleries. This attic apartment is on the second floor of the building, full of light and incredible views. And light is certainly one of its main charms. Light streaming in for most of the day, through its many windows and balconies.
The apartment’s lower level houses the living area, in an airy, open-plan design accommodating sitting area, dining area and kitchen. A bright, cheerful space with three large windows and a nod to the essence of Seville in the polka dot wallpaper. The sitting area is equipped with a comfortable sofa and coffee tables, and there is a dining table seating six.
Two of the bedrooms are also on this lower level. The first has a sloping ceiling and exposed beams and wood. Both have a sumptuous double bed for a perfect night’s sleep. There is a full bathroom with rainfall shower.
The upper level has a third double bedroom and access to the terrace, which is equipped with outdoor furniture and can be used as a solarium.

Calle Cano y Cueto is in one of the most centrally-located areas of Seville. Perfect for exploring the historic buildings and Baroque essence of the city, the Barrio de Santa Cruz, the legacy from the Expo held in 1929, and the myriad cultural and leisure opportunities that this city by the Guadalquivir has to offer. All of it within walking distance, to be explored on foot, at your own pace. But there is also public transport, with numerous bus and metro options just around the corner. Or you can cycle, if you prefer, taking advantage of Seville’s cycle lanes. And even if you come by car, parking is not a problem as there is a public parking facility available right next door.
