"Sleeping in a palace in a four-poster bed with views onto a royal garden sounds like something out of a fairy tale…"

Description

The Palacio Buenavista is a stately home dating back to the 17th century, open to guests today following a full and complex renovation project. The building, of great historical and architectural value, is not only one of the best conserved examples of a period Sevillian house, but also a house steeped in myths, legends and history, now accommodating 12 stunning individual apartments around its central inner courtyard, the traditional Sevillian patio.

The Casa de una Noche (House for one Night) is one of the most special of these apartments. It takes its name from the popular legend that claims that, on the eve of the conquest of Seville, king Ferdinand III, known also as king Ferdinand the Saint, slept in the inn which used to stand in this very site. True or not, the myth endures, with the help of the commemorative ceramic tableau on the building entrance, a cultural attraction in itself.

The apartment has been equipped in a contemporary style, its interior design essentially minimalistic. Access is through the Palace entrance, a lovely hall with an original wrought iron gate leading to the square patio and its eight wrought iron pillars. The property is on a first floor and can be accessed using a lift.

You will love the distribution of the property and the way it engages with the outside, with views onto the street and the Murillo Gardens from the sitting room and the bedroom. The old wooden beams have been exposed and integrated into the décor, to ensure you enjoy it all the more. The apartment exudes peace and comfort. Top quality fittings and fixtures (floors, woodwork, ceramic tiling) and a selection of designer furniture. All in brilliant white, with touches of pastel colours here and there.

The spacious living area is open plan, with a kitchen, a sitting area with sofa and TV, and a stylish dining table for four.

The bedroom is on the right, the prominent feature a stunning four-poster bed with white drapes, and a balcony overlooking the street. Next to the bedroom is a full bathroom with rainfall shower.
